Turbine Traverse 2025: GrALBA Series Round 4
Welcome to the Inaugural edition of the Turbine Traverse - hosting the Scottish Gravel Championships!
Turbine Traverse takes in100km over 3x laps of a challenging 33km circuit, totalling 980m over the duration of the event. The Turbine Traverse is arguably the fastest course on the series circuit - offering an opportunity for the "Roleur" type riders.
Taking place on the 16th August 2025, this brand new location for the champs shall stand as the first ever British Cycling affiliated National Gravel Championships...

Turbine Traverse Sportive
The ride format for both the GrALBA Series events (wave 1, 2 and 3 ) shall include 3x laps of an approximately 33km circuit with the exception of the 60+ category that will ride 2x laps.
In line with our inclusivity policy, we are also offering a third wave that will include 1x lap of the circuit.
National Championships Eligibility
This is the first ever officially sanctioned Naitonal Gravel Championships. As a result, all riders will need to have an eligibility check meaning the latest your can register is midnight on 3rd August.
Online entries for the event will remain open after this stage but you will not be eligible if you are not registered before this date.
Course
The course takes in a testing, yet fast 33km circuit that riders will complete 3x on entirely traffic free gravel.
There will be 1x feed station per lap that riders can leave labelled items at - please note that feeding is not permitted on the course.
