Starting and finishing in the heart of 'Auld Reekie'. This gravel adventure rolls out from Edinburgh Castle - the heart of the Captial and will include 1 overnight stay and 2 days of riding.

Experience some of the finest riding, taste quality foods, drink local sourced beers and sleep in our cosy Bell Tents at our stunning Lochside campground.
We've carefully selected the route from years of local knowledge...
This unique gravel adventure is the perfect blend of urban and rural riding. After leaving the historical streets of Edinburgh the ride is quickly met with remote, rural gravel trails and single track.

Along the way, we'll pop up road-side for some welcome refreshments and ride snacks to keep you going...

Itinerary
Day 1

Meet Edinburgh Castle 9:00 - 09:30 where we'll give a quick brief over a coffee and morning pastry (on us) before rolling out. We have plenty snacks to fill your bags and pockets.

We've carefully selected the perfect lunch stop after about 40km to fuel up. At this point the city now feels a world away.

The second half of the day then heads out toward the moorland where you'll meet smooth gravel trails that take in panoramic views of the Eildons and surrounding areas.

In our opinion, the best leg of the route comes at the end of the 1st day where you arrive at the lochside camp at St.Mary's loch. Expect an evening BBQ and comfortable stay in the Bell Tent over a cold brew or two.

Day 2

We wake for an 08:00 breakfast - maybe even take a morning swim in the loch to wake yourself up.

We then roll out for roughly 09:00 and head over toward the Tweed Valley via the stunning Gypsy Glen.

After a few refreshment stops along the way, we soon catch sight of the Pentland Hills before descending down into the Capital and finishing the loop back at the castle.
